From Spain: Real Madrid and Man City join Milan and Barcelona in race for Dutch defender

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan face competition from a number of top clubs if they are to land Hoffenheim defender Melayro Bogarde, according to a report.

Gianluca Di Marzio told Sky Italia (via MilanNews) earlier this week that Milan and Barcelona have made a first enquiry over the 18-year-old.

The latest from Fabrizio Romano for Calciomercato.com reported how Bogarde is a market opportunity and ‘a real bargain’. The teenager is readying himself for a move to a new league, and the Milan scouting area are attentive to the opportunity, but that Barcelona and a Premier League side are also interested.

According to what is being reported by Spanish source Sport (via Calciomercato.com), Milan are not the only team who are keeping an eye on the talented Dutchman.

As a matter of fact, Barcelona, Manchester City and Real Madrid have also cast their eyes upon Bogarde, suggesting the Rossoneri face a very difficult battle to land the teenager.
