Gallery: ‘Infinite Milan’, ‘Twist in the Devil’s tail’ – today’s front pages of Italian papers

AC Milan’s revived title bid is the subject of the front pages of the Italian papers today as they came from behind to beat Lazio 2-1 at the Stadio Olimpico.

Milan had to dig deep and find every bit of character they had in them at the Stadio Olimpico, especially given that Inter had beaten Roma on Saturday night at San Siro, and they did so as Olivier Giroud’s equaliser and Sandro Tonali’s 92nd-minute winner overturned a 1-0 deficit.

Today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport: “Infinite Milan. Comeback against Lazio, it’s a Scudetto Derby. Tonali in the 92nd minute makes it 1-2.”

Il Corriere dello Sport: “Twist in the Devil’s tail. #ACMilan respond to Inter with win at the Olimpico.”

Finally, Tuttosport: “Tonali: Milan growl. Strike at the 92nd, Lazio beaten and top spot is safe.”
