AC Milan are just one point away from winning the Scudetto after they beat Atalanta 2-0 at San Siro yesterday evening.
Milan went into the game knowing they needed a maximum of four points from their final two games to bring the league title back to the red half of the city for the first time since 2010-11, and the victory against La Dea ensured it became one thanks to goals from Rafael Leao and Theo Hernandez.
Gazzetta dello Sport: “To the final goal. Everything in 90 minutes: on Sunday the Scudetto will be assigned. Leao, it’s him again. Theo drives everyone crazy with 93-metre slalom. Triumph one point away.”
Corriere dello Sport: “Milan can touch it. A draw will be enough against Sassuolo for the Scudetto.”
Tuttosport: “Milan -1 from a party. Leao and extraordinary Hernandez goal: Inter’s victory in Cagliari postpones the Scudetto by a week.”
