AC Milan take on Napoli tonight at San Siro looking to send a message that they are Scudetto contenders by beating the league-leaders.
Milan are a game behind everyone else after their match against Bologna on Saturday was postponed, something that was a debacle in itself. Antonio Conte’s side are in town and will be full of confidence after their start to the season, which has them top of Serie A.
Below is how the front pages of the newspapers in Italy are previewing what promises to be a fascinating game…
La Gazzetta dello Sport: “Scudetto call (without Leao). Non-stop season: another great match at San Siro. Milan to stay on the train, Napoli for a seven-point lead.”
Corriere dello Sport: “Scaroni with venom: ‘The mayor of Bologna has caused us harm’. Milan-Napoli, what a spectacle. At 20:45 Morata launches the challenge against Lukaku who has already scored five goals against the Diavolo. Leao out. Theo and Reijnders suspended. Kvara and Politano back. Gilmour regista.”
Tuttosport: “Conte with Napoli challenges Milan, Ibra and the fans against Inter and Juve.”
Can’t believe this match is not on TNT or Discovery+ – have to watch on a well known betting site – Ridiculous..
