AC Milan started their season in the worst possible way, losing 2-1 to Cremonese at San Siro, and the newspapers were quick to highlight the flaws on their front pages this morning.
Despite Rafael Leao’s absence, Milan were heavy favourites to clinch all points against the newly-promoted side. Instead, they ended up conceding two goals and only found the back of the net once, falling short in the season opener.

Massimiliano Allegri said after the game that the Rossoneri lacked the ability to perceive the danger, hence two goals conceded from crosses. No matter the reason, though, it’s clear that the manager and his men still have a lot of work to do.
The newspapers made sure to highlight these flaws on the front pages this morning, from the lacklustre performance to striker doubts.

Excellent point! I really agree with you. Fofana is the most overvalued player in the media, a player that never impressed me and I watched all matches last season. I think Pobega was a better player! The same applies to Loftus Cheek, when he plays. Allegri should have substituted them after the first half and bring in Ricchi. Too bad Allegri!

It is allegri fault starting 2 physical midfield rlc & fofana but both are look disappear on match, buying ricci for what ? Watching RLC playing full match contribute nothing from bench ?
Defensive frailties, blunt in attack, no answer for the low block….it’s gonna be a long season. We all know the story from 3 seasons ago, the coach has a lot of work to do…

It was Allegri’s fault. Gow can you field Fofana & RLC to play a full match, and, also you removed Modric. Who do you expect to create goal scoring opportunity to the attack. Fofana doesn’t even know how to give accurate through pass. RLC is too slow in making decision. With this selection we can always lose. With Modric, Jashari & Ricci, why can’t you play 433, in that formation you can play all the players in there natural positions. Pulisic to the left, Saelemakers to the right, Gimenez to the centre. What a rubbish! Thats why Juve part ways with him. He can’t DELIVER!! Mark my words, NOT with this type of rubbish. And still he is insisting on Rabiot, another player that is not creative, he only got size. Allegri is after size, that’s why RLC & Fofana played fully. Rubbish!!!
