AC Milan clinched their third consecutive win in the league last night as they managed to beat Lecce by three goals to nil. As expected, the newspapers were full of praise on the front pages this morning, just as we saw after the derby.
While it was a slow performance from time to time, Milan exploded towards the end of the first half as they scored three goals in five minutes. It could even had been four before the half-time whistle, with the Rossoneri showing their prolific nature up front.
Today’s newspapers only had words of praise for Paulo Fonseca and his men, who really have turned things around since the defeat against Liverpool. However, with Bayer Leverkusen up next, it remains to be seen if this trend will continue.
