AC Milan were drawn into Group E of the Champions League group stage last night and avoided the toughest opponents. There is great optimism, therefore, that they can make it out of the group.
The Rossoneri will face Chelsea, Salzburg and Dinamo Zagreb in the group stage and compared to last season’s group, Stefano Pioli’s men are one of the favourites to go through to the knockout phase.

On the front page, Gazzetta Dello Sport wrote the following: “Only Chelsea scares Maldini. De Ketelaere, Pioli gives him San Siro. Chalobah, [Milan] overtaking Inter.”
Tuttosport wrote this: “Milan and Leao, Chelsea for you”. Obviously, the newspaper referred to the draw and the rumours linking Leao with the club.
