Today marked the first training session of the preseason and the conditions could hardly have been more challenging for the players.
The session got underway just after 17:00 CEST when the sun was beating down and the temperature was around 36 degrees celsius. Hundreds of fans were present to cheer the team on as they did a workout, some drills and ended with a training match.
Divock Origi scored twice in the intra-squad game with Ante Rebic and Junior Messias also scoring in a 2-2 draw, while Ruben Loftus-Cheek got a nice assist.
