Gattuso ready to bring in Abate as one of three changes vs. Roma

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are expected to make three changes from the XI against Napoli for Friday’s game against Roma, if reports are to be believed.

As per both Sky Italia and La Gazzetta dello Sport, Gennaro Gattuso will make three changed from the line-up which faced Napoli at the San Paolo last Saturday.

Hakan Calhanoglu is back from suspension and is expected to occupy the starting LW spot over Fabio Borini.

Meanwhile, young centre-back Mattia Caldara – who joined as part of the deal which saw Leonardo Bonucci return to Juventus – is expected to take the place of Mateo Musacchio and partner Alessio Romagnoli.

Finally, Davide Calabria looks set to miss out, with veteran right-back Ignazio Abate to come in.

Probable line-up vs. Roma (4-3-3): Donnarumma; Abate, Caldara, Romagnoli, Rodriguez; Kessie, Biglia, Bonaventura; Suso, Higuain, Calhanoglu.

For Roma, Alessandro Florenzi is almost certain to miss the fixture due to a knee injury, with Rick Karsdrop ready to fill in.
