AC Milan have put an offer on the table for the transfer of Barcelona defender Jean-Clair Todibo, according to a report.
We recently reported via our mercato expert Vito Angele that the Rossoneri are chasing a centre-back after it was officially confirmed that Leo Duarte will be out until at least March.
A number of outlets have linked Milan with a move for Todibo in recent days, and SportMediaset (via MilanNews.it) recently reported that Milan held fresh talks with Barcelona on Tuesday regarding the 19-year-old.
However Mundo Deportivo then reported that the former Toulouse man already has offers from Leverkusen, Milan, Watford, Southampton and Monaco ahead of the January window.
Now, an update from La Gazzetta dello Sport on Friday – as cited by MilanNews.it – reports that Milan are looking to sign Todibo but would need a ‘super discount’ on his current €150million release clause.
As a result, the Rossoneri have offered a figure of just over €10million to try and land the teenager and beat the competition.
