GdS: AC Milan’s probable XI for Torino clash – Pioli opts for consistency

By Isak Möller -

Following the 1-1 draw against Juventus in the Coppa Italia semi-final first leg, AC Milan are gearing up to take on another Turin side on Monday evening, namely Torino. Of course, getting the three points is the only option.

The Rossoneri put in a good performance against the Bianconeri on Thursday, proving that the first half against Inter wasn’t just a fluke. Had it not been for an incorrect penalty call, then Stefano Pioli’s men would have sealed an important win.

Considering that they played so well, the manager isn’t expected to make any changes to the starting eleven, as highlighted in today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport (see below). Furthermore, he will continue with the 4-2-3-1 formation.

Andrea Conti will be suspended for this game as well and thus Davide Calabria will keep the spot on the right. Despite playing the full 90 minutes against Juventus, Zlatan Ibrahimovic will once again be the focal point in attack.
