GdS: Adli would rather a different European league than a potential move to Ajax

AC Milan midfielder Yacine Adli does not seem thrilled about the idea of joining Ajax in the Eredivisie despite their interest in his services, a report claims.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Milan News), Adli is more interested in joining a different European league than the Dutch one.

It is not clear whether this is for personal reasons, which could mean he wants to return to France, or if he feels the competitive level of the Dutch top flight is not high enough for him.

It is likely the former, but what is certain is that Milan would like to offload the midfielder this summer as there is no space for him in the squad.

The only concrete interest shown in him so far has been from Ajax, so Milan may need to persuade Adli to change his stance on the Eredivisie if they are to move him on.

  1. No space for him?
If we play 433 we need backups for the Mezzala roles.
Right now backups are Pobega and Adli, with Adli looking the better option.

    1. Adli is better than Loftus as a mezzala. Dont understand this Pioli tactic of playing physical mezzalas over ones with more passing and attacking abilities. Xavi showed Pioli how 4-3-3 is actually played. But knowing Pioli he probobly didn’t learn anything.

  2. This is the mistake Milan are making. Letting CDK go makes sense as he was given plenty of chances to show his worth whereas Adli wasn’t.
