GdS: Adli not considered part of Pioli’s plans – Ajax keen to explore deal

By Oliver Fisher -

Most of the speculation surrounding AC Milan at the moment seems to concern potential exits, and Yacine Adli is among the names being talked about.

As reported this morning by La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below), last season didn’t go as expected for Adli after a convincing preseason and even some positive performances in the mid-season friendlies.

The Frenchman continues to get little playing time under Stefano Pioli and seems to be out of his plans for the future. For this reason, he could depart this summer before the window closes.

The paper speaks of interest from Ajax in the former Bordeaux man, but at the moment the Eredivisie club have not yet formulated a concrete offer.

Milan paid a fee of €8.5m for Adli (via Transfermarkt) to sign him from Ligue 1 so would be looking to recoup a similar amount in order to sell and avoid a loss in the accounts.
