GdS: Agreement needed with Donnarumma 134 days from expiry – the possible compromise

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan appear to be no closer to agreeing a deal with Mino Raiola for the renewal of Gianluigi Donnarumma, a report claims.

According to today’s La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanLive) there is gap still to be bridged between Milan and Raiola. The player has made it very clear that his absolute priority is to sign a new contract with the Rossoneri, his boyhood club who have shown a lot of faith in him since he was young.

Sentimental ties are not enough and finding an agreement quickly has become urgent, given that the current deadline is in exactly 134 days, or four and a half months. Raiola’s requests are currently to be considered unacceptable for Paolo Maldini and the management as he wants €10m net per season but only for two extra years.

The solution could be a compromise in which Milan agree to a three-year renewal, which would give them some breathing room before having to negotiate again. There remains the worry regarding the economic part, even if there are suspicions that Raiola’s €10m-a-year requests are just a negotiating tactic.

Sell him now. For him to renew i guess that 7-8 milions/year are needed. Search a talent also young but with resonable askings. Let ibra go also. Let madzukic go. Let calhanoglu go… They all ask a montain of money and none of them deserve it. If you keep all those players soon the rest of the squad will ask over 5 milion to renew ..

Donnarumma is without doubt top gk just need to improve him game with feet. Tatarusanu good for back up. Antonio donnarumma go back to asteras Tripolis.Need top players for right flank.Calabria below average…He is perfect for spal and brescia not for milan..Davide look theo and learn.dalot wish you the best in Man United.Salemakers castillejo and hauge is better to become ball boys. Leao is better to loan him and work more with your brain. Theo and rebic are 100% match in left flank.Kalulu very young to judge…need more minutes for sure maybe loan him too. I believe in romagnoli but he finally needs someone next to him permanently…kajer and gabbia as a back up and we need one cb with balls between him legs..maybe tomori is a solution but it’s very early to say…benaccer is great but needs someone next to him..not kessie…he is terrible.. looks like a tired veteran after 60 minutes and cant dribble mark assist or score..just penalties and these are horrible.lol…tonali is still very young and must improve his gameplay…krunic? Dont want to spend my time writing about him. Go play tennis better…mandzukic maybe too early to judge but I think it is better we didnt get him. Diaz? Go back to real. You remind me suso…good technic in theory but no finishing no assists..numbers count in football…calhanoglu after three years finally show quality but still not top player and look like he plays only for new contract…maldini needs time and must loan..Ibra?no words.i wish he was 25…we need a top striker because retirement is coming and he cant play 90 minutes.Someone will say that I judge them hard but if we want to be competitive in cl then we need reinforcements almost in all positions. Scudetto is not realistic goal. I want milan play cl every year but I dont want to be third and fourth in cl group
