GdS: Another chance for Chelsea loanee Tomori to show his qualities with Milan

By Isak Möller -

After months of struggling with absences, Stefano Pioli will be able to count on his strongest starting XI tomorrow, almost. Simon Kjaer is injured and will miss out, meaning Fikayo Tomori will start once again.

The English defender made his first appearance for the Rossoneri against Inter, coming off the bench to replaced the injured Dane. He impressed and thus got to start the game against Bologna as well, winning the battle over Pierre Kalulu.

As highlighted by Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews.it), the Chelsea loanee will get another chance tomorrow as Milan will take on Crotone. The start has been promising, as said, but now Tomori needs to continue on the same path.

Pierre Kalulu, who is a right-back by nature, is eager to play as well and has impressed in the centre of the defence. Despite Kjaer’s injury, therefore, Tomori’s spot is far from cemented and this will perhaps fuel the loanee to do even better.
