GdS: Arsenal, Spurs target remains first choice defensive option for Milan

By Oliver Fisher -

Juventus are standing firm on the price tag they had set for defender Merih Demiral amid links with AC Milan, a report claims.

We recently reported via our mercato expert Vito Angele that the Rossoneri are chasing a centre-back after it was officially confirmed that Leo Duarte will be out until at least March, and Demiral continues to be the name most heavily linked.

Calciomercato.com reported that Milan had scouts at Bayer-Juve in the Champions League on Wednesday night as Maurizio Sarri deployed both as starters.

According to an update from La Gazzetta dello Sport, Demiral remains Milan’s first choice reinforcement at centre-back for the upcoming mercato, however it will not be an easy pursuit.

Juventus do not seem willing to lower the price they have set for the former Sassuolo man, and the paper also revealed that an €18million bid was knocked back in the summer, though no current valuation is mentioned.

Bleacher Report recently claimed that Demiral has a price tag of €30m amid interest from three Premier League sides.
