GdS: Ballo-Toure facing a difficult task after joining Milan but the full-back is prepared

By Oliver Fisher -

Fode Ballo-Toure arrived this summer from Monaco and faces a difficult job as being Theo Hernandez’s deputy, according to a report.

As La Gazzetta dello Sport (via PianetaMilan) writes this morning, the Franco-Senegalese full-back has the task of being there whenever Theo Hernandez needs to catch his breath. It will not be an easy job because every player wants to play as much as possible, but he also knew exactly what he was signing up for when he joined.

However, the paper writes how Diogo Dalot had the same role to fulfil during the course of the 2020-21 season and in the end the Portugal international proved to be fundamental within the team. Having become important in the rotations of Pioli, Milan tried to get him back from Manchester United but ended up going for Alessandro Florenzi.

Ballo-Touré can be calm because the season is long and there will be plenty of opportunities, just as also applies for Kalulu and Gabbia too.
