There is an ongoing battle between Ted Dimvula and Jorge Mendes over the control of Rafael Leao’s affairs and it will intensify in the coming months, a report claims.
As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Calciomercato.com), there is a lot for Leao to be thinking about at the moment as it is not clear who will be representing him for the bulk of 2024.
He signed a power of attorney with Dimvula which is going to expire in February 2024. Dimvula is keen to get that agreement renewed so that he gains more control over Leao, and that is a plan which Leao’s father backs up.
On the other hand, Jorge Mendes is not giving up and he wants to regain full control over Leao’s affairs, presumably hoping that his reputation sways Leao in his direction.
With Milan concerned about Leao’s form, it is a distraction that he perhaps does not need.
