AC Milan will get their Serie A campaign back underway after the international break when they face Sampdoria, and will have arguably their best squad in months.
As La Gazzetta dello Sport writes (via MilanNews), the Milan side who will face Sampdoria at San Siro in a few hours will be very close to the first choice team. Apart from the absence of Calabria (Saelemaekers should play in his place), Pioli will be able to field his key men, starting with that Bennacer who has been struggling with injuries this season.
The Rossoneri will finally have their most creative midfielder back, one who is not afraid to push, and Pioli is happy to be able to join the Algerian with Franck Kessie once again. With Bennacer as the ‘director’, the core is sorted, from Kjaer to Ibrahimovic, passing through Calhanoglu. Now we just have to hope it translates into a positive result.
