GdS: Bologna express interest in Milan outcasts – €10m demand a hurdle

By Isak Möller -

Bologna are interested in securing the services of Fode Ballo-Toure this summer and another Milan player, as a consequence of that interest, has ended up on their radar. Namely Junior Messias.

Milan are expected to part ways with many players this summer and have already said goodbye to quite a few. Ballo-Toure is one of the players that are expected to leave this summer and the same can be said for Messias.

According to today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport (via SempreMilan), Bologna have already opened talks with Milan over Ballo-Toure. However, as a result of those talks, Messias was also brought into the discussion.

Milan want €10m to sell the Brazilian and it could perhaps be difficult for Bologna to come up with that money. The departure of Riccardo Orsolini could perhaps free up some cash and the Rossoneri could likely also grant a discount if Bologna were to sign both Ballo-Toure and Messias.

  1. Messias played average in Milan. That’s the reason why is he hot to average Serie A club. Reaching 100 million in players sale this year would open the door for better arrivals and stronger team I hope so.

    1. Last two seasons Messias has been the 3rd best goal contributor behind Leao and Giroud. He’s grossly underestimated

  2. Swap deal with Orsolini, get in there quick, Toure and Messias straight swap for Orsolini, perfect deal for all sides !!!

    1. Ummm Lazio, Juve and Inter are further ahead on the Orsolini front that we are. They’re prepared to pay actual cash and not swaps
