Everything seems to be in place for Tiemoue Bakayoko’s return to AC Milan after just over a year away from the San Siro, a report claims.
For weeks Milan have been linked with a move to bring Bakayoko back to the club where he spent a successful season on loan in 2018-19 under Gennaro Gattuso.
The general consensus among all major news outlets is that Chelsea want to sell the player, Milan want to bring him back and the player wants to return, contributing to an overall feeling of optimism that a deal will get over the line.
According to Friday’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), everything seems to be done for Bakayoko’s return to Milan.
The paper notes that the Rossoneri have already reached an agreement with Chelsea on the basis of a loan with option to buy fixed at €40m, and only the very last details need to be resolved.
