GdS: Chelsea winger willing to reduce salary as Milan eye €15m deal

By Isak Möller -

Christian Pulisic has ended up on the radar of AC Milan and since the relations with Chelsea are excellent, optimism has filtered. In fact, the winger has also opened up to the move, a report claims.

Milan are in need of a right-winger ahead of next season, following the departure of Brahim Diaz and the imminent one of Junior Messias. Pulisic has been identified as the one, also thanks to his versatility in attack.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, Milan are defining the deal for Ruben Loftus-Cheek at €16m plus bonuses and could clinch another signing from Chelsea next week. Pulisic is willing to lower his salary and the Rossoneri are aiming to close a deal with Chelsea at €10m plus bonuses, for a total of around €15m.

Stefano Pioli likes the American international a lot, seeing as he can play in all three positions in the attacking trio. The fact that the Rossoneri have agreed to sign Loftus-Cheek helps the operation, with it being almost like a package deal in the end.

  1. If there’s any truth then could work out well.

The pair of Pulisic and Loftus Cheek have a high ceiling, if they can both stay fit. But that’s a big “if” risk.

  2. I think people are fooled by the fact that they weren’t standard first-teamers on their team! It absolutely doesn’t have to mean anything. It’s not our first deal with Chelsea in recent times. The English team is overcrowded with expensively paid players and there has certainly been a lot of pressure on the coaches for the team to progress with them. That’s what led to the circus and they ended up where they are. I think this could be a great deal at a low price if we brought in both of them!

  3. ALL Maldini targets that he already negotiated for LOL. How Ironic

I highly doubt we get Pulsic for only 15M – that seems fanatical. 25M is possible but 15M is giving him away unless he says he will not sign with anyone but Milan and leave on a free next season. It would be nice but seeing is believing. Get Pioli on that red phone!!!

    1. yeah just like how Faildini negotiated for Renato Sanches last summer, such magic took 7 weeks to get rejected and get freaking Vranckx in a panic
