GdS: Chukwueze and Reijnders latest Milan players impressing on international duty

AC Milan have been enjoying a very positive international break in many ways with Samuel Chukwueze and Tijjani Reijnders the latest to impress.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan players should largely be coming back from their international endeavours feeling confident.

Yunus Musah was used as an emergency centre-back by the United States of America, whilst there was a good end to the international break for Chukwueze and Reijnders.

The former scored and assisted in Nigeria’s 6-0 win over Sao Tome and Principe in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Reijnders made his debut for the Netherlands. He came on for Marten de Roon against Greece. He also played the whole second half in the next game against Ireland.

The only negatives for Milan have been the injuries to French duo Olivier Giroud and Pierre Kalulu, which have caused something of a selection headache for Stefano Pioli ahead of the Inter clash.
