Angel Correa only wants a move to AC Milan this summer despite interest from other clubs, according to a report.
We revealed yesterday that there is optimism from the Milan camp that they can get a deal done for the Atletico Madrid forward, after a meeting was held with his agent Augustin Jimenez on Thursday.
Now, La Gazzetta dello Sport provide an update on the situation in their paper edition on Friday, confirming Correa is top of the Rossoneri’s wishlist.
Moreover, in the last few hours the player has told Atletico’s management that he only wants a move to Milan and not to consider any other offers.
Valencia were linked with a swoop for Correa on Thursday, but La Gazzetta are claiming that Atletico received a ‘significant offer’ from Monaco for the Argentine.
For now the distance between the two clubs is about €10million, but it seems to be destined to decrease with the passing of days.
There is no urgency from the Milan camp because they know very well that Correa is not part of Diego Simeone’s plans, and that the asking price will subsequently be lowered nearer the end of the window.
