AC Milan continue to be linked with a move to sign Daichi Kamada on a free transfer once he leaves Eintracht Frankfurt at the end of the season.
This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via PianetaMilan) talks about Milan signing a more physical midfielder such as Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and/or Chelsea’s Ruben Loftus-Cheek, but confirms that Kamada is also a target.
As mentioned, he could arrive on a free given that his deal expires at the end of next month and he is a different profile compared to both the Serbian and Englishman because he brings creativity and more goals, perhaps at the expense of some muscle.
The fact that Milan have not had the guarantee of many goals from Charles De Ketelaere, Sandro Tonali, Ismaël Bennacer, Rade Krunić, Yacine Adli and Aster Vranckx this season suggests the Japan international could be a real asset, therefore.
However, both Kamada and Loftus-Cheek are non-EU players. The two could only arrive together at Milan with the sale of the Colombian goalkeeper Devis Vásquez , who arrived in January from Paraguay.
It is a choice that will have to be weighed because the arrival of Kamada and Loftus-Chee would close the door to other possible non-EU signings, and signing the Eintracht man could also mean giving up Brahim Díaz.
