GdS: Fourth-kit strategy pays off as Milan register more pre-orders than home kit

By Isak Möller -

A few days ago, AC Milan announced their new fourth kit which certainly features a rather strange design. The decision to launch the kit has seemingly already paid off, a report claims.

Milan will wear the new kit for their game against Bologna tomorrow and it will certainly be interesting to see it in action on the players. According to Gazzetta Dello Sport (via PianetaMilan), despite its odd design, it has been a commercial success thus far.

In fact, Milan received hundreds of pre-orders just in the first 24 hours and thus surpassed the number of pre-orders for the first kit of this season. The fact that there is ‘less time’ to buy it (with the season ending soon) might have contributed, but it’s still a success.

As said, the kit will be debuted during Milan’s game against Bologna tomorrow and hopefully, it will bring the Rossoneri players some luck. With just eight games left, they could use it.
