The future of playmaker Brahim Diaz appears to have reached a crossroads and it is not known where he will play next season, a report claims.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanLive), the idea of the Spaniard staying with the Rossoneri into next season seems unlikely, both because there is no written agreement regarding an option to buy, and because it seems that the Rossoneri have different plans.
Brahim seems to be an attacking midfielder with very different characteristics from those of Hakan Calhanoglu, as the 21-year-old is much more direct, as he often tries to beat his man and drive towards goal. Meanwhile, the Turkey international plays almost as an offensive director who plays killer passes and looks for assists.
It is therefore possible that Stefano Pioli gives the green light for the farewell to Brahim Diaz, who could return to Madrid at the end of the season in order to make room for a new addition to the frontline, a player more similar to Calhanoglu for technical and tactical characteristics.
