According to the latest reports, AC Milan are closing in on the signing of Angel Correa, after several weeks of negotiations with Atletico Madrid.
The player’s agent arrived in Milan today in an attempt to unlock the deal. Therefore, in the coming days (maybe even hours), the Rossoneri could decide to accelerate the negotiations for the Argentine striker.
As pointed out by today’s edition of La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Correa will add important versatility to Giampaolo’s attacking force. In fact, he can play as a trequartista and in the second-striker role.
Therefore, he will increase the level of internal competition up front, ready to battle it out with Rafael Leao for the spot next to Piatek. At the same time, he will be able to fill in behind the striker whenever Suso needs rest.
