GdS: Ibrahimovic and Milan will continue together – the details of his imminent renewal

By Oliver Fisher -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic will play into his 40s with AC Milan as he is close to signing a new deal for the upcoming season, a report claims.

Ibrahimovic is continuing his rehabilitation process in Desenzano on Lake Garda, after the knee operation carried out a few days after winning the Scudetto with Milan, which will keep him out until early next year.

According to what is being reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via SempreMilan.it), next week the Swedish centre-forward will sign a one-year renewal with Milan at a relatively low fixed figure compared to the previous two (€2m net) but with the addition of a whole series of bonuses and prizes.

This means that the burden on Milan will be low, but Ibra will be able to raise his earnings if he manages to play and contribute continuously, which in turn would of course help the Rossoneri in their pursuit of the second star.
