GdS: Ibrahimovic infinite – the Swede could bring up two big milestones against Atalanta

By Oliver Fisher -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic thrives on the biggest challenges and on being required to lead his team through games, and he will have another chance tonight.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) described the Swede it as “a phenomenon in constant evolution”, because Zlatan has not yet ceased to amaze despite being 39 years of age and he continues to prove he can do it at the highest level.

As soon as the game at San Siro kicks off this evening Ibrahimovic will reach 600 overall appearances in the various leagues he has played in during his career. He has 498 with those clubs in all competitions (in 821 matches in all competitions). Therefore, a brace tonight would move him on to 500 goals in 600 league games.

The paper adds how Ibrahimovic has crossed seven countries and two continents, collecting trophies virtually everywhere, and if he were to somehow capture the league title this year it could be his best yet.
