AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is set for a decisive meeting with CEO Ivan Gazidis over plans for the future, one journalist claims.
There is a lot of uncertainty surrounding the club at present, summarised perfectly by the sacking of Zvonimir Boban over the weekend after comments he made claiming Gazidis went behind the back of the directors to agree a deal with Ralf Rangnick.
That uncertainty extends to Ibrahimovic, who has had a big impact since his official return to the club in January, but with his deal set to expire in June there are no guarantees that his stay at Milan will last more than six months.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira, the 38-year-old will sit down with Gazidis this week for what will be a ‘decisive’ meeting.
Schira adds that Ibrahimovic wants guarantees on the ambitions of the club and clarity on his role moving forward.
