Rafael Leao has never thought about leaving AC Milan and he has made renewing with the club a priority, according to a report.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), the month of January will be fundamental for Leao’s renewal. Milan have let the winger know that they can offer €6-6.5m net per season to him, and the Portuguese considers Milan a priority.
Never before has he been thinking of leaving the club, adds the paper, but the situation remains complicated due to the interest of Chelsea and Manchester City, the involvement of two representatives (Jorge Mendes and Ted Dimvula) and the fine to be paid to his former club Sporting CP.
The next month is therefore set to be key as Milan will have to make progress in talks with the ex-Lille star, otherwise the risk it that the whispers of interest from abroad will grow louder.
