GdS: Juventus insist on signing Milan star Donnarumma – the main hurdle and Raiola’s stance

By Oliver Fisher -

Juventus have a concrete interest in signing AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma this summer, according to a report.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanLive) are claiming that several foreign teams like Paris Saint-Germain and Premier League clubs are interested in signing Donnarumma, but warns about one of Milan’s rivals.

Juventus remains a concrete opportunity for Donnarumma as the Bianconeri have for years dreamed of snatching him from the Rossoneri and securing the designated heir of Gigi Buffon.

Mino Raiola would not hesitate to incur the wrath of Milan supporters and would gladly take him to Turin, but Wojciech Szszcesny’s presence is an obstacle.

The current Juve No.1 recently renewed his contract and intends to remain for a long time, so the Pole would hardly step aside to make room for the younger Donnarumma.

Meanwhile Donnarumma for his part would not leave Milan to go and be a back-up. He is considered the best goalkeeper in Italy and will evaluate only proposals where he would be a starter before saying goodbye to the Rossoneri.
