AC Milan seem to be more and more open to the idea of selling Rade Krunic during the January transfer window to raise funds for incoming operations.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below), Milan have big plans in January as they are looking to sign three players to bolster areas of the squad that have been exposed for having a lack of depth, especially with injuries.
There could well be exits to help facilitate the moves, including Krunic whose sale would offer an assist to the club. Milan are ready to let him go, while Fenerbahce – who already stepped forward to buy him in the summer – have reignited their interest in him.
The Rossoneri management did not sell the Bosnia international in the summer because the distance between the request for a transfer fee and the offer was too wide to bring the parties closer. Stefano Pioli also opposed it, because without the injured Ismael Bennacer he wanted Krunic to play as a No.6.
Now that one of his loyalists is no longer a guaranteed starter and with Bennacer back in the fold, there are no obstacles to his departure, provided that the clubs reach an agreement. Krunic is worth at least €10m to Milan, money that would be immediately be put towards signing Jonathan David.
Who’s next in line to hate on after krunic leaves? I’ve seen animosity towards Calabria, i wager him.
Surely Adli once people realise he’s only about as good as Krunic – ie, not anywhere near any era Milan level.
Calabria, Chuk, Theo might be in line too or even back to Leao lol 😂.
I raise you Pobega.
💀💀💀
Way too obvious. Poor guy
Pobega, then Calabria, then Chukuweze or Jovic, then Theo,….
Sleeper picks: Thiaw or RLC.
This has management told him not to play Krunic written all over it
I think Krunic not performing so well lately has also something to do with him not playing so often during the last games.
Yea he declined badly after the injury. His head also doesn’t seem in the game either which is uncharacteristic of him. All the better to figure out who can play there I guess. The options are quite varied
If they did, we should all be thankful to them. But it probably has more to do with the fact that they drop points every time he starts and Pioli knows his job is on the line. Anyone remember the last game Krunic started that Milan won? You’ll need a good memory for that.
Good to see all of the Krunic loyalists shedding a tear now.
September 23. And good god, you are right, we have not won a single match he’s started since.
