GdS: Messias continues to train alone after Milan arrival – his presence vs. Lazio is in doubt

By Oliver Fisher -

It seems unlikely that new signing Junior Messias will be available for Sunday’s game against Lazio at San Siro, according to a report.

MilanNews reported yesterday that Junior Messias once again did personalised work yesterday and has not yet trained with the squad since his deadline day arrival from Crotone. We have learned that it is simply a matter of getting his condition to improve before he is able to carry out work with the team.

Messias was a little behind in preparation and Pietro Pellegri also had to do his preseason all over again, but he arrived at Milanello a few days earlier and is therefore in contention.

This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) writes that the presence of Junior Messias against Lazio is still uncertain. The Brazilian is still on his own individual programme at the moment to try and get him up to speed, so a debut at San Siro is not so obvious.
