GdS: Midfielder called up for July 7 preseason meeting but will sign for Milan in the coming days

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are expected to confirm the signing of Sandro Tonali from Brescia in the coming weeks, according to a report.

Tonali had an average first season with the Rossoneri, experiencing both ups and downs, but it is expected that there would be a period of adaptation. Considering how demanding that role is, the fans should have a bit of patience, just looking at the development of Ismael Bennacer.

The original deal agreed was a €10m paid loan plus a €15m option to buy and a further €10m in bonuses, therefore a deal totalling €35m, but after a rollercoaster season it has been reported that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara want a discount.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), these are decisive days for the closing of the deal between Milan and Brescia for Tonali. The young midfielder has been called up for the July 7 preseason with Brescia, but it is a formality that he will be bought outright by Milan.
