GdS: Milan and Arsenal open talks with agent of defender; Juventus stance revealed

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan and Arsenal have both contacted the agent of Merih Demiral over a potential move, according to one journalist.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reported earlier on Wednesday that Milan are considering a swoop for Juve’s Demiral, with the 21-year-old having struggled for playing time behind the likes of Leonardo Bonucci, Matthijs de Ligt, Giorgio Chiellini and even Daniele Rugani.

Their report suggested that Ricardo Rodriguez – who has also struggled for game time due to the arrival of Theo Hernandez – could be sold in order to help fund the move.

Now, Gazzetta journalist Nicolo Schira has provided an update on his Twitter account, claiming that both Milan and Arsenal have reached out to Demiral’s agent.

However, he also reports that Bianoneri director Fabio Paratici has not changed his stance since the summer: he does not want to allow the Turkey international to leave.
