AC Milan could sell Ricardo Rodriguez in order to help fund a move for defensive target Merih Demiral, according to a report.
Captain Alessio Romagnoli has been the only constant in the back four for the Rossoneri this season, and the question of finding him a permanent partner is one which the club are seemingly determined to solve.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan are considering a swoop for Juve’s Merih Demiral, with the 21-year-old having struggled for playing time behind the likes of Leonardo Bonucci, Matthijs de Ligt, Giorgio Chiellini and even Daniele Rugani.
The report claims that Ricardo Rodriguez – who has also struggled for game time due to the arrival of Theo Hernandez – could be allowed to return to the Bundesliga, and his sale would help fund a move for Demiral.
Sport Witness recentl reported that the Turkey international carries a price tag pf around €40m, while Bleacher Report’s Dean Jones claimed Manchester United and Arsenal are also interested in signing him.
