As reported by today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews), taking stock of the Rossoneri’s strategies, there were new contacts with Chelsea yesterday regarding Fikayo Tomori. The 23-year-old defender is on the brink of an exit.

The parties are negotiating on the cost of the loan: Milan have put €1m on the table, while Chelsea would like €3m. As for the buy-out clause, the latest indications suggest that it could be up to €30m.
The negotiations will continue early next week and Milan are confident that they can close the deal. Tomori wants to play more and would be keen on the move, having been used very little by Frank Lampard this season.
