AC Milan are optimistic that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will say yes to their offer and return to the club in January, a report claims.
According to Thursday’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews.it), the fact that the Rossoneri have no plan B or C regarding other strikers shows both confidence and trust in the idea of bringing the Swede back.
It can be deduced therefore that the leadership expect a positive response from Ibrahimovic, with the strong point of their offer being the flexibility for him to stay for six months or for 18.
Milan are hoping that the striker will decide with his heart, rather than his wallet. They hope that the affection of the fans towards him and the chance to finish his in style – as well as help a club he loves that is in need – will be enough.
An answer is expected the coming days. And it is not inconceivable that Mino Raiola could arrive in Milan oduring the week for a decisive meeting.
