GdS: Milan confident of having three key men back for Juventus game

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are confident of having three key players back for Sunday night’s game against Juventus at San Siro, according to a report.

Today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport speaks (seen below) about the condition of Pierre Kalulu, Rade Krunic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who have been out due to injury in the last period.

Yesterday all three carried out some recovery work on the pitch at Milanello, not taking part in the practice match against Ignazio Abate ‘s Milan Primavera.

In any case, there is optimism for their presence on Sunday evening against the Bianconeri as their recovery is going according to plan and will take steps forward in the coming days.

Loftus-Cheek in particular should have no problem being available for the match against Juve. However, the situation will need to be monitored day by day and things will not be rushed.

A very challenging period is coming for Pioli and he will have to rotate the squad in the most effective way, given that after the Juventus game come trips to PSG and Napoli.

  1. Best not to rush Kru and RLC – we will need them at 100% for PSG.

Reijnders – Adli – Musah should start vs Juventus. Kru and RLC can sub in the 2nd half.

  2. Now with Chukwueze out, Musah will deputize Pulisic and Adli will continue to play in the middle with Krunic and RLC coming back. Romero will probably get some minutes. Will Jovic find playing time?
