AC Milan have continued their ‘constructive’ dialogue with Mino Raiola over the renewal of Gianluigi Donnarumma, according to a report.
La Gazzetta dello Sport on Friday (via MilanNews) notes how Donnarumma’s agent Raiola has landed in Italy and has a series of meetings planned to talk about the future of some of his clients.
The talks between the Italian-Dutch agent and the Milan management regarding the renewal of both Gigio and Antonio Donnarumma has continued in a constructive way. The parties are in constant contact, and while it is too early to talk about it being a done deal there is the common will to find an agreement and continue together.
Milan director Frederic Massara spoke about the renewal of Donnarumma before Thursday night’s 3-0 win over Sparta Praha.
“It’s a current issue, we are dealing with it with his agent, we have been talking about it for a long time. There is the will to extend and do it without haste but with the awareness that it is a goal that we will try to achieve,” he said.
There are two issues that need resolving in order to finally achieve white smoke. The first is the salary, as Donnarumma is likely to want a pay rise, while the second is the possible inclusion of a release clause.
