GdS: Milan to discuss Frattesi deal with Sassuolo this week

AC Milan will be holding fresh talks with Sassuolo during the week to try and find an agreement over the transfer of Davide Frattesi, a report claims.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Milan News), the Rossoneri are not going to let up in their efforts to sign the Italian midfielder now that Sandro Tonali is on his way to Newcastle.

Inter are strongly in the fight and they have the advantage of Nicolo Barella. Frattesi has been vocal about his desire to play alongside the Inter midfielder.

Sassuolo are still asking for a fee of €40 million, and Milan do have that sort of money now that Tonali is being sold. That being said, they may not want to spend such a sum on one player given there are other areas to address.

A player like Daniel Maldini or Lorenzo Colombo may be used in the deal.

  1. If we don’t get him….. we are fooked! I mean even with Tonali we were desperate for reinforcement and now the Moneyball Moron has sold him we are done!

  2. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Management not willing to spend, so no quality player expected. Same story every season. Milan’s revival is still years away. RedBird has nothing to offer.
