GdS: Milan could rival Everton for Chukwueze’s teammate as loan is possible

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan are looking to bolster their attacking trio with a right-winger ahead of next season and several players are on their radar. In addition to Samuel Chukwueze, his teammate Arnaut Danjuma is an option.

Milan recently announced the signing of Christian Pulisic from Chelsea and while the American can play on the right, it looks like he will mainly reside on the left or in the middle. Therefore, the Rossoneri could sign another winger.

Chukwueze has been the main target since the new management took over but his price tag, as reported by Gazzetta Dello Sport (via SempreMilan.it), is hefty. As a result, Milan could focus on his teammate Danjuma instead.

The Dutchman spent six months on loan at Tottenham last season and scored eight goals across all competitions. Milan have opened talks with his agents, per the report, and it seems a loan move could be possible.

The Rossoneri would then pay a small fee to Villarreal as compensation (Spurs paid €3m). The likes of Atalanta and Everton are also interested in the player.

  1. Danjuma doesn’t play right wing. He is primarily a left winger and a striker so I think he will take the role of Rebic as an alternatic to Giroud & Leao. Good solution on loan

  2. Won´t come. Is strategy to get Chucky.

We dont need another left wingerd. De already got Leao, Pulisic, Saelemaekers and Romero. Real ritgh winger as Chucky must come.

  3. If we really short on funds he can be solution for striker (loan fee 2-3m with option to buy, preferably around 5-10m) who knows maybe he can reignite his career here. Then put more money for more areas like RW, no. 6, and LB cover.
