GdS: Milan have €35m centre-back duo on wish list ahead of January – the names

AC Milan are determined to sign a centre-back in the January transfer window and have set their sights upon a 20-year-old duo, a report claims.

According to Wednesday’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanLive) there are two profiles on the wish list of the Rossoneri management ahead of the window reopening in a couple of months: Hellas Verona’s Matteo Lovato and Schalke’s Ozan Kabak.

The former is impressing everybody with his performances in Serie A and on Sunday evening he had a great game as Hellas drew 1-1 against Juventus. Lovato receives €0.8m net and has a contract expiring in 2024, and the Gialloblu would be willing to sell for €15m.

Kabak on the other hand has a higher valuation, as the paper claim that Schalke would demand €20m to part with the 20-year-old who currently already earns a net salary of €2m per year.

The German club are resisting to sell the Turkey international despite a financial crisis that is hitting them, and their hope is to be able to spark an auction as there is interest from the Premier League, with Liverpool and Manchester United linked.
