GdS: Milan have three centre-back targets in find as one of duo could leave – the names

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have three centre-back targets on their list as they prepare to say goodbye to one in January, a report claims.

According to a report from La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), Milan’s main target for the January transfer window remains a central defender, because one between Leo Duarte and Mateo Musacchio could soon pack his bags.

The Brazilian has struggled to settle since his move from Flamengo in summer 2019 but does have admirers abroad, while the Argentine has admirers in Serie A after a tough last couple of seasons due to injury.

In terms of replacements, the first name on the list is that of Mohammed Simakan from Strasbourg, and the paper adds that in recent weeks there have been signs of rapprochement between the parties.

The Rossoneri, however, continue to keep contacts alive also with Schalke 04 for Ozan Kabak and with Hellas Verona for Matteo Lovato, who are both 20 years old and have been linked recently.
