AC Milan have Dusan Vlahovic as the first name on their wish list for the attack but they also have an alternative in mind, a report claims.
This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) writes that Milan are looking to make a couple of statement signings to bolster the attacking department and Vlahovic is one of the players shortlisted.
However, the operation is complicated because of the fact that Fiorentina president Rocco Commisso has set a €40m asking price for the Serbia international, which is a very high valuation and one that might only go up if he keeps up his sensational scoring form.
The newspaper adds though that Milan have an alternative to the 21-year-old in Gianluca Scamacca, a player currently on loan at Genoa but owned by Sassuolo. In recent times the track has cooled down a bit, but he still represents a viable option.
