GdS: Milan identify Ligue 1 striker as potential fix for goalscoring woes

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are struggling to score goals consistently and they could try and address it as early as the January transfer window, a report claims.

This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) writes that Milan’s big problem of the current period is undoubtedly the lack of goals that they have scored, with just one in the last four games across all competitions.

Milan’s attack is especially suffering from the lack of alternatives to Olivier Giroud. Noah Okafor missed the PSG game due to muscle fatigue while Luka Jovic felt discomfort warming up, so Giroud had to play another 90 minutes.

For this reason, the paper report that Milan could well move to sign Lille striker Jonathan David as early as January. It is still too early to know if it will be a successful pursuit, but what is certain is that the Canadian is liked by the Rossoneri management and sooner or later they will make an attempt.

  1. David has been less than stellar so far this season. Why does our management have such a hard on for this guy? Has he had more than one hot season?

  2. ACM wont sign JD or sesko . They will sign striker that far from media exposed. JD and sesko often mention by media as ACM target
