AC Milan already have their man lined up should Lucas Paqueta depart the club in the summer window, according to a report.
There is plenty of speculation in the media at present suggesting that Paqueta is not part of Stefano Pioli’s plans and could be allowed to leave if the right offer comes in, a year and a half after he joined from Flamengo.
According to a report from Monday’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), Milan already have a player in mind to replace Paqueta in the event the Brazilian does leave this summer.
The management are thinking of replacing him with Real Madrid playmaker Oscar Rodriguez, who has spent the last two seasons on loan at Leganes, scoring nine goals in 30 LaLiga appearances in the 2019-20 campaign.
For the moment, there has been only one enquiry from the Rossoneri for the 22-year-old, but it is not excluded that a real negotiation with Los Blancos may arise in the coming weeks.
