It seems as though AC Milan defender Simon Kjaer is set for yet more time on the sidelines as he has picked up another muscle problem.
La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) reported this morning that Milan’s selection issues should ease a bit ahead of this weekend’s trip to face an old friend in Sinisa Mihajlovic and his Bologna side at the Stadio Renato dall’Ara.
That is because three players will return from injury, as Sandro Tonali, Mario Mandzukic and Ismael Bennacer should recover. Of course, we are also still waiting for Hakan Calhanoglu to return negative tests, which could come at any moment in theory.
According to the same paper (via MilanNews), some negative news has arrived regarding Kjaer. The Dane limped off after 20 minutes of the first half in last night’s game due to a muscle problem in his left thigh.
His recovery seems very difficult for Saturday’s league game against Bologna, with further updates on his condition expected.
